If the belt is not correctly tensioned,
loosen the screws (12) securing the
timing belt roller to the flange.
Turn mobile tensioner retaining
screws (22) and (24) to stretch or
slacken the timing belt.
Lift the mobile tensioner (21) by hand
to stretch the timing belt or lower
down to slacken.
Note
Turn the tensioner roller anti-
clockwise to stretch the belt.
Turn the screw (22) with the special
tool (S) whilst positioning the tool
pusher (T) onto the tensioner.
Caution
Turn the pusher (T) anti-
clockwise to stretch the belt or
clockwise to slacken.
Tighten the screw (22), screw (24)
and screws (12).
Lightly flick the belt with a finger and
then read frequency value (Hz) on the
Mathesis tester.
If the belt is not correctly tensioned,
repeat the above procedure; if
correctly tensioned, ensure that
screws (22), (24) and (12) are
tightened as specified (Sect. C 3).
Remove tools part no. 88713.2282
from the side caps (E); fit the screws
(F) with washer (G) and tighten to the
specified torque (Sect. C 3).
Remove the optical reader and the
Mathesis tester.
Warning
Also check for proper timing
when checking belt tensioning (Sect.
N 4.1).
Se il valore della tensione non è
corretto, allentare le viti (12) di
fissaggio della puleggia distribuzione
sulla flangia.
Tendere o allentare la cinghia,
operando sulle viti (22) e (24) di
fissaggio dei tenditori mobili.
Manualmente alzare il tenditore
mobile (21) per tendere la cinghia,
viceversa abbassare il tenditore
mobile (21) per allentare la cinghia.
Note
Per tensionare la cinghia
ruotare il rullo tenditore in senso
antiorario.
Operare sulla vite (22) con l'apposito
attrezzo (S) posizionando lo spintore
(T) dell'attrezzo sul tenditore.
Importante
Ruotare lo spintore (T) in senso
antiorario per tendere la cinghia,
mentre ruotarlo in senso orario per
allentare la cinghia.
Serrare la vite (22), la vite (24) e le viti
(12).
Sollecitare leggermente la cinghia
con un dito e leggere il valore della
frequenza della sua oscillazione (Hz)
sul Mathesis.
Se il valore non è corretto, ripetere
l'operazione descritta sopra, mentre
se il valore è corretto, accertarsi che
le viti (22), (24) e (12) siano serrate alla
coppia prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Rimuovere dai cappellotti laterali (E)
gli attrezzi cod.
88713.2282 e
rimontare le viti (F) con rosetta (G)
serrandole alla coppia prescritta (Sez.
C 3).
Rimuovere il lettore ottico, lo
strumento di diagnosi.
Attenzione
Ogni volta che si effettua il
tensionamento cinghie è buona
norma verificare la fase (Sez. N 4.1).
