Pump the outer sleeve (26) and the
damper rod (8) up and down 8-10
times as shown in the figure to drain
all oil.
Warning
This generates pressure and oil
will be ejected quickly out of the fork.
Aim the fork at a container you will
have prepared previously to avoid
contact with fork oil.
Place the fork bottom end in a vice
with soft jaws.
Unscrew the compression adjuster
(
19 ).
Caution
If the adjuster is too tight, refit
the components ( 10 ), ( 11 ), ( 12 ), ( 13 ),
( 14 ) and ( 15 ) temporarily and hold the
cap nut to help release the adjuster.
Remove the compression adjuster
(19) and the seal (20).
Remove the complete damper
cartridge (8) and remove lower
centering bushing (7).
Caution
Do not dismantle the damper
cartridge.
Slip the dust seal (22) off the top end
of the sleeve (26). Lever with a
screwdriver.
Scaricare l’olio dall’interno dello stelo
pompando 8÷10 volte con il fodero
esterno (26) e con l’asta
ammortizzatore (8) come in figura.
Attenzione
Con questo movimento si
mette in pressione l'olio che verrà
espulso a forte velocità dallo stelo.
Dirigere il getto di olio all'interno di un
contenitore per evitarne il contatto.
Posizionare il supporto asse ruota in
una morsa provvista di ganasce di
protezione.
Svitare la vite di registro ( 19 ) della
compressione.
Importante
Se l’operazione risulta
difficoltosa, rimontare
provvisoriamente i componenti
precedentemente rimossi (
10 ), ( 11 ),
( 12 ), ( 13 ), ( 14 ) e ( 15 ) e contrastare con
il tappo superiore.
Rimuovere la vite di registro
compressione (19) e la guarnizione
(20).
Sfilare la cartuccia ammortizzatore (8)
completa e rimuovere la boccola di
centraggio inferiore (7).
Importante
Non aprire la cartuccia
ammortizzatore.
Sfilare il raschiapolvere (22) dalla
sommità del fodero esterno (26)
facendo leva con un cacciavite.
