2. Touch the static-protective package to any unpainted metal
surface on the server; then remove the drive from the package.

3. Using the instructions that came with the drive, check that any
switches or jumpers on the drive are set correctly. Change them
if necessary.
What to do next
To install a drive in bay 1 or bay 2, continue with the
next step.
To install a drive in bay 3 through bay 7, go to step 14
on page 87.
4. If a tray is attached to a drive that you intend to install, you
must remove the tray before installing the drive. Follow the
instructions in the documentation that comes with the drive.
