9. Close and lock the door.

comes with the rack.
Removing the Drawer Model from a Rack
In some configurations, installing options in the drawer model
might be more convenient if you remove the server from the rack.
For example, you might prefer to remove the server if you are
installing an internal drive in a drawer model that is installed in the
bottom bay in a rack.
Before you begin
Read “Electrical Safety” on page 53 and “Handling
Static-Sensitive Devices” on page 54.
Turn off the server.
Follow any additional installation and safety instructions
that come with the rack.
Removing the Drawer
CAUTION:
Due to the weight of the server, do not attempt to lift the server
by yourself. To avoid risking possible injury, get another person
to help you.
