Perform Waveform X-Y Synthesis
Procedure
Press the DISP key to open the Waveform screen, and then press the CH.SET key to open the X-Y settings window.

Set the waveform color in the graph
display.
Move the cursor to the channel for which you
want to set the color, and choose the selection.
You can also select the same color as other
channels.
Off The waveform is not displayed. When
[Save Channel] is set to [Disp Ch] , this
channel will not be saved automatically.

On The waveform is displayed. Select the
display color with the F keys [↑] , [↓] .

Select the channels for X-Y synthesis.
Move the cursor to the items for the X (time axis)
and Y (voltage axis) and assign a channel.
The same channel can be assigned multiple
times.

To synthesize waveforms between A and B cursors
Perform the following steps.
1. Press the STATUS key to bring up the Status screen, and select the [Status] sheet.
2. Select 1, 2, 4, 8 or 16 screens as
[Format]
.
3. Press the DISP key to display the Waveform screen.
4. Use the AB cursors to specify the range for synthesis. Refer to the following pages: (p. 122), (p. 125).
5. Press the STATUS key to bring up the Status screen, and select the [Status] sheet.

[X-Y Single]
or
[X-Y Quad]
for
[Format]
.
To move pen on synthesized waveform
Press the
WAVE
key so that the key is lit. The pen can now be moved over the entire waveform
with the jog and shuttle knobs. The time at the pen position is shown at the top right of the
screen.
