If you wish to configure a mixed operation of easySafety
devices and previous NET stations, such as easy800, in
certain circumstances the easySoft-Safety configuration
software is sufficient. This is the case if the previous NET
stations are only operated in REMOTE IO mode without a
circuit diagram. Only if a circuit diagram is required for these
conventional NET stations is the use of easySoft-Pro
recommended. The parallel use of easySoft-Pro and
easySoft-Safety is possible without any restrictions.
The NET network allows the following operations:
• Processing of additional inputs and outputs in the
standard circuit diagram.
• Implementation of faster and more effective controls using
distributed circuit diagrams.
• Date and time synchronisation of the NET stations.
• Read the inputs and outputs of all other NET stations in
the standard circuit diagram.
• Read the inputs and outputs of previous NET stations that
do not execute their own circuit diagrams, and write to
their outputs, in the standard circuit diagram.
• Send 32-bit values to other stations using PUT function
blocks in the standard circuit diagram and receive data
from them using GET function blocks.
• Loading safety configurations from and to every station
(

• Control the STOP/RUN operating mode of NET stations 2
to 8 based on the operating mode of station 1 (master). In
order to do this, the REMOTE RUN option must be
activated in NET stations 2 to 8.
