7. Adjust the position of the straight sections until:

•

Use shims to verify that a 0.5 mm (0.02 in.) gap exists between all 
straight sections (between the track structure [or aluminum extrusion], 
not between the linear motors [or motor laminations]).

•

The two (2) straight sections are reasonably square at each end.
