Connecting the battery
•
Place the new battery (1) back into the battery compartment;
•
Install the bracket (2) and tighten the screw (3);
•
Connect the cables to both battery terminals, first connect the positive cable to the
positive terminal and then connect the grounding cable to the negative terminal. It is
recommended to grease the battery terminals before connecting the cables;
•
Install the hydraulic oil cooler (4) and secure it on both sides with screws (5);
•
Turn on the main switch, see figure Fig. 194;
•
The tractor is ready to be started.
IMPORTANT:
If the tractor is used in wet conditions or near water, ensure that
the battery and the electrical components are properly protected to avoid contact
with water!
WARNING:
Always make sure that the cables are correctly connected to battery
terminals (negative and positive) to prevent short circuit!
IMPORTANT:
Worn out batteries must not be disposed of as household waste.
They must be taken to dedicated collection points for recycling, in accordance
with applicable regulations. When you purchase a new battery, you can also leave
the old battery with the dealer who will make sure it is properly recycled.
