<1> Rem ove the jum per w hen installing a DC reactor. M odels CIM R-LC2A0085 through 2A0415 and 4A0045 through 4A 0216 come w ith a
built-in DC reactor.
<2> Set L8-55 to 0 to disable the protection function o f the built-in braking transistor o f the drive w hen using an optional regenerative converter
or dynamic braking option.
<3> Set up a thermal relay sequence to disconnect drive main pow er in the event o f an overheat condition on the dynamic braking option.
<4> Supplying pow er to the control circuit separately from the main circuit requires a 24 V power supply (option).
<5> This figure illustrates an example o f a sequence input to S1 through S8 using a non-powered relay or an N PN transistor. Install the w ire link
betw een term inals SC-SP for Sink mode, between SC-SN for Source mode, or leave the link out for external power supply. N ever short
term inals SP and SN, as it will damage the drive.
<6> The m aximum output current capacity for the +V and -V term inals on the control circuit is 20 mA. N ever short term inals +V, -V, and A C, as
it can cause erroneous operation or damage the drive.
<7> Set D IP switch S2 to the ON position to enable the term ination resistor in the last drive in a M EM O BUS/M odbus network.
<8> Use jum per S3 to select betw een Sink mode, Source mode or external power supply for the Safe D isable inputs.
<9> D isconnect the w ire jum per between H1 - HC and H 2 - H C w hen utilizing the Safe Disable input.
<10> M onitor outputs w ork with devices such as analog frequency meters, am m eters, voltmeters, and wattmeters. They are not intended for use as
a feedback-type o f signal.
<11> W hen the drive is set to trigger a fault output upon activation o f the fault reset function (L5-02 = 1), a sequence to interrupt pow er w hen a
fault occurs will shut o ff the power to the drive w hen the drive attempts a reset. The default setting for L5-02 is 0 (fault output not active
during reset attempt).
