Crankshaft Gear Inspection

NOTICE:

Any time the crankshaft gear bolt (Figure 27) and lockplate are removed from the

crankshaft gear, the bolt and lockplate are to be discarded and replaced with a new bolt
and new lockplate for the applicable crankshaft gear. The discarded bolt and lockplate
are not to be re-installed on any engine.
