3.6 Cable Connections

3.6.1 Precautions



Connections of all power cables, control cables, and ground cables must comply with the
local electrical code, and the cable specifications should comply with the local cabling
specifications.



For details about the current in full load, see the NetCol8000-C nameplate.



Requirements for the main power supply: 380–480 V AC, 3 Ph, 50 Hz/60 Hz for single
power supply; 380–415 V AC, 3 Ph, 50 Hz/60 Hz for dual power supplies; N wire not
required.



Only trained and qualified personnel are allowed to connect cables.



Before connecting cables, use a voltmeter to measure the input power voltage and ensure
that the power supply is off.



All the NetCol8000-Cs are safely grounded before being powered on.



Keep cables away from the fans and copper pipes. Otherwise, take protective measures.
Make sure that all cables are connected properly.



Bind the signal cables and power cables separately with the spacing of 50 mm
in-between.

3.6.2 Positions of Electric Ports

After opening the front door, you can see the connection box, as shown in the following
figure.
