Transferring all data at a time via iC
communication
<iC trans. all/Touch to receive all>
Exchange all data at a time with other devices using
the iC communication function.
● Sending all data at a time
Select “iC trans. all” from the function menu of the
data list screen or detail screen.

Forwarding Data via Cable
Connection

By connecting the FOMA terminal to your PC via the
FOMA USB Cable with Charge Function 01/02
(optional), you can transfer various data such as
phonebook entries or images.

To transfer data using the FOMA USB Cable with
Charge Function 01/02 (OBEX
TM communication),
you need to install “ ドコモケータイ datalink”
(DOCOMO keitai datalink) (p.447) and “FOMA 通信
設定ファイル
” (FOMA communication setting file)
in the bundled CD-ROM.

For installation of “ ドコモケータイ datalink”
(DOCOMO keitai datalink), etc., refer to the
download page of the software. For details on data
transfer, refer to Help of the software.

For installation of “FOMA 通信設定ファイル ”
(FOMA communication setting file) and operating
environment, refer to “PC Connection” and “Manual
for PC Connection” (PDF) in the bundled CD-ROM.

Set “USB mode setting” to “Communication mode”
before transferring data.
Preventing Forwarding

When using the infrared data exchange, iC
communication, copy to microSD card or data
transfer function (OBEX
TM
communication) to transfer
phonebook data, prevent transferring still images
stored in the phonebook.
■ Important
z
Ensure that the FOMA terminal and PC are
properly connected. An improper connection
may not only prevent data transfer but also result
in data loss.
z
Attempting to transfer data when the battery is low
or empty may not only prevent data transfer but
also result in data loss. Make sure that the battery
is fully charged. Also, check the PC power.
z
All the data in the FOMA terminal may be erased
if an error occurs while sending all from a PC to
the FOMA terminal. Before sending all, check
the cable connection, the battery level of the
FOMA terminal and the PC power.
