Changing the Ring Tone
<Select ring tone>
Set the ring tone and receiving screen for voice call,
videophone, PushTalk or i-mode mail. You can also
set the ring tone for specified phone number, mail
address or group in the phonebook respectively.

Select an item to set a ring

Select “Phone”, “Videophone”, “PushTalk”,
“Mail”, “Chat mail”, “MessageR”, “MessageF” or
“i-concier”.
• When “Phone” is selected, the ring tone for
voice calls and 64K data communication is set.
• When “Mail” is selected, the ring tone for
i-mode mail, SMS and packet communication
is set.

i-motion …… Set i-motion/Chaku-Uta

downloaded
to the FOMA terminal or movie (i-motion) captured
with the camera. When you receive a call, the video
or sound for the selected i-motion is played (Chaku-
motion).
Music …… Set Chaku-Uta-Full
®

the following when the Chaku-Uta-Full
®
contains the
portion where the ring tone is specified by the
provider:
Fullsong ring tone …… Set the entire song as
the ring tone.
Point ring tone

Set a part of the song as
the ring tone.

When the “Movable contents” folder is
selected, select “YES” then the destination
folder.
Voice announce …… Set the message recorded
using “Voice announce”.
Random melody
……
Select a folder containing
melodies. When you receive a call or mail, melodies
stored in the folder are played randomly.
OFF …… Do not play a ring tone.

Flash movies can be set as the receiving display/
mail receiving display, but the ring tone used is a
tone set in “Select ring tone”.
