Components
Take the following steps during wiring and installation to improve the external encoder’s noise
resistance.
•
Always use the specified external encoder cables.
•
Do not roll cables. If cables are long and are rolled, mutual induction and inductance will increase and
cause malfunctions. Always use cables fully extended.
•
When installing noise filters for external encoder cables, use clamp cores.
The following table shows the recommended clamp cores.
