9.6.6 Operating Unit
DANGER!
Risk of fatal electric shock!
There may be fatal danger by touching electrically
powered components. Cleaning when the equip-
ment is switched on may have fatal consequences.
Therefore:
– Disconnect all electrical connections to the op-
erating unit before cleaning.
– Reconnect electrical connections only after the
operating unit has completely dried.
– Keep humidity away from components which
are electrically powered, as excessive moisture
may lead to short circuit.
CAUTION!
Risk of damaging the operating unit!
The electronics of the operating unit may be dam-
aged, if they come into contact with liquids
Therefore:
– Carefully clean the operating unit.
– Never douse the operating unit with excessive
amounts of liquids.
To clean the operating unit, proceed as follows:
Procedure
1.
Switch the equipment off at the main switch.
2.
Disconnect the equipment from mains supply.
3.
Wipe the surface of the operating unit with a damp cloth.
Clean with appropriate disinfectant as necessary.
4.
Clean the screen with a wipe suitable for computer or laptop
screens.
