NOTICE!
To mount the transparent sheathing, carefully pull it
over the dosing needle and shrink coat it by warm-
ing it up using e.g. a hair dryer.
4.7.2 Reagent Bottles
250 mL reagent bottles made of borosilicate glass with 3 + 1 con-
nections are provided as a standard.
Optionally, other reagent bottles are available, too.
One bottle provides reagents or feed solution for two vessels (2
bioreactors = 1 basic unit).
The reagent bottles are delivered fully equipped.
1 Needle
2 Silicone hose
3 Disposable filter
3 of the 4 connections are equipped with needles. Silicone hoses
are fitted to 2 needles inside the bottle. A silicone hose and a filter
for pressure equalisation are fitted to the other end (outside of the
bottle) of the 3
rd
needle. The filter is secured with a cable tie.
The 4
th
connection on the reagent bottle is closed with a silicone
plug. A fourth spare needle is provided in the kit, too.
