The pH sensor(s) is/are calibrated
Mount the sensors so that they cannot come in contact with
other built-in components or with the glass vessel.
Mount the pO
2
sensor so that the bottom cannot collect bub-
bles on the membrane surface. (E.g. do not fit the sensor di-
rectly by a baffle).
Adjusting the sensors in their height after autoclaving contains
a risk of contamination.
Depending on length of the sensor and size of the vessel, the use
of a height adjustable electrode holder is necessary. For details
see the following detailed description.
If the use of an electrode holder is not necessary, the sensors can
be directly screwed into the vessel top plate port. Respect the
same points as above mentioned.
The following example describes the mounting of a pH sensor by
the means of an electrode holder.
Proceed as follows:
Procedure
1.
Lightly loosen the grub screw on the support guide using the
key provided.
2.
Pull the support guide from the rod.
