9.5 Multifors 2 Cell: Exchanging the Ball Bearings of the Stirrer Shaft
Because the bearings of the stirrer shaft (cell culture version) are
not lubricated, they will wear over time. For this reason, they must
be replaced at regular intervals (also see the maintenance plan):
After max. 4000 operating hours (approx. 6 months)
Auxiliary material
The following components and tools are needed for replacing the
ball bearings:
1 Allen key, WAF 1.27 (included in the starter kit of the
equipment)
