DANGER!
Danger of fatal electric shock!
There may be fatal danger by touching electrically
powered components. Cleaning when equipment is
switched on may have fatal consequences.
Therefore:
– Disconnect the equipment from the mains sup-
ply and check whether it is electrically isolated
before cleaning.
– Turn off the electrical supply and lock off any
isolation switch before cleaning.
– Keep humidity away from components which
are electrically powered, as excessive moisture
may lead to short circuit.
WARNING!
Danger of allergies and seroconversion!
Contact with microbial proteins during cleaning
may provoke allergies and may lead to develop-
ment of unwanted antibodies against materials in
the medium.
Therefore:
– Always wear protective gloves during cleaning.
– Always wear safety goggles during cleaning.
– Strictly follow the cleaning procedure as de-
scribed.
CAUTION!
Danger of microbial contamination!
Inadequate or incorrect cleaning carries an in-
creased risk of microbial contamination of the
equipment.
Therefore:
– Strictly follow the procedure of cleaning as de-
scribed.
