(2) Input/Output port configuration
As it is the automatic assignment setting, the fieldbus should be assigned for 64 points from
the top, and PIO Unit #1 and #2 and EC Connection Unit #1 and #2 should be assigned for
16 points from closer order to RSEL.

Operate EC with the following input and output ports in the SEL program.
Control: Output port No.396 to 411
Status: Input port No.96 to 111

Operate EC with the following input and output ports in the host device (PLC).

Software Reset Input / Remote Mode Control Input, etc. and for output, Error Output

to the EC connection unit. It should cause Error Code 62D: “Input and Output
Feature Port Number Error” and so on.

[2] Connection of EC connection unit
An EC connection unit should be connected on the right side of the extension unit
(PIO/SIO/SCON extension unit, PIO unit or SCON extension unit) and the 24V driver unit.
Shown below is the axis numbers of ELECYLINDER when exercised the example shown in
the figure above.
