<Example>
When 256 points are used for both input and output in the field network (such as EtherNet/IP)
and the automatic assignment is selected, the input and output ports should be assigned as
shown below.

Input port: 0 to 255
●
Output port: 300 to 555
In there, if the last 16 points in the field network is assigned to an EC connection unit, the setting
should be as shown below.
●
Option board parameters No.2 = “1: I/O control”
●
Option board parameters No.3 = 240
●
Option board parameters No.4 = 540
[2] Control of SEL program
The input and output ports assigned to the EC connection unit should be operated directly in the
SEL program.
In order to stop ELECYLINDER on the way, turn ST0/ST1 Signals off.
ELECYLINDER would not stop with operations described below.

5.10.6 Timing for input and output signals
The maximum response time from the control signal gets turned on till it reaches ELECYLINDER
and the status signal from ELECYLINDER returns to PLC when an actuator is operated in a PLC
sequence program can be expressed with formulas shown below.
Also, PLC should be the master station and the gateway unit should be the remote I/O station.
PLC → Max. Response Time of ELECYLINDER : Yt + Tt + Ft
