Emission intensity:
Used in emission mode measurement.
Calculation Mode
Integral is normally used, and need not be changed.
The other modes are mainly used in graphite furnace
analysis.
Integral
: Peak area is converted to area per
second. This is mainly used in flame
analysis.
Peak Height : Maximum absorbance within the
atomization time is measured.
Peak Area : Area of atomization time – absorbance
is measured.
Peak Width : Not used in flame analysis. The time
width when slicing the peak at the
specified height (in %) versus the
maximum absorbance of STD2 is
calculated. In the subsequent
measurements, the slicing height
absorbance to which this time width is
applied is determined, and quantitative
measurement is made based on this
absorbance. The input range of
slicing height is from 1 to 50%.
Wavelength
Normally the wavelength ensuring the highest sensitivity
for the set element is selected as a default value, and
this need not be changed.
When changing to the wavelength of lower sensitivity,
click the [List…] button and the Wavelength dialog box
appear.
Click the [OK] button after selecting the wavelength that
changes.

Moreover, the numerical value can be input directly.
