Cuvette
Type
Select [Pyro Tube C HR] usually. Use of other cuvette
may improve data reliability depending on the sample to
be analyzed. Current level in heating varies with the
type of cuvette. Therefore, if a wrong type is specified,
an exact temperature may become unobtainable. When
using Pyro Tube D HR, make sure to refer to 5.5 “Twin
Injection.”
Cuvette types: Pyro Tube HR, Tube HR, Cup HR,
Platform HR, Pyro Tube C HR, Tube C
HR, Pyro Tube D HR (Twin Cuvette)
NOTES
: 1. Use the omega-shaped platform if Platform HR is
selected in Cuvette Type. It has a longer cuvette
life than a conventional platform and allows stable
data collection.
2. Unlike other cuvettes, Pyro tube D HR (Twin
Cuvette) has two sample inlets. Make sure to
check the cuvette type before use.
3. If Pyro Tube D HR (Twin Cuvette) is selected, a
dialog box to adjust the nozzle position will appear
when determining the conditions. Follow the
instructions in the dialog box.
4. The heating temperature changes with the change
in the resistance of the cuvette. Do not use a
cuvette other than those specified for this
instrument.
Temperature
Control
Specify the temperature control method for atomization.
By default, the Optical Temperature Control which
ensures a high absorption sensitivity due to rapid
heating is assigned. There is no need for change
usually.
Change to current control when you want to slow
heating in atomization.
[Optical Temperature Control]
The temperature of the cuvette is controlled by the
quantity of light produced when the cuvette is heated.
High absorbance can be achieved by rapid heating.
Usually select this method.
