2.3 Fundamental Operation of Software Windows
Explained next are the fundamentals of window operation with
the atomic absorption spectrophotometer software.
“Clicking” and “double-clicking” are the mouse operations
necessary for the spectrophotometer.

Clicking : Press and release the left mouse button
quickly.

Double-clicking : At the same position, click the left mouse
button twice in a row.
The atomic absorption spectrophotometer software has 4
windows; Monitor window, Method window, Data Process
window and Diagnosis window. Switch windows by pressing the
lower left button.
Taking an example of the Method window, the name and
function of each window element are described here.
Displayed around the edges of the window are <1> menu bar,
<2> toolbar, <3> tool box and <4> status bar.
