7.4 Closing Operations
(1) Click the [Start] button at the bottom left of screen and click
[Shut Down] to turn off the PC.
(2) Turn off power supply to the AAS main unit.
(3) For the peripheral units of PC, follow the instruction manual
of each unit.
NOTE
: See the manual of the PC for shutting down the PC.
Finally, follow these steps:
(1) Turn off power supply of the exhaust duct line.
(2) Remove the hollow cathode lamps.
(3) Close the main valves (primary and secondary) of each gas.
(4) Discharge waste solution.
This completes the last procedure to be taken at the end of daily
operation of the instrument.
NOTE
: Influence of sample vapor
If a sample is left on the autosampler, the sample
vapor may affect the instrument.
Especially, a sample containing hydrofluoric acid may
damage the optical system of the instrument.
Remove samples from the autosampler after
measurement.
