(6) Connect another end of the Silicone tube to the separator.
(7) Wait for about 10 min until the flow rate of the solutions become
constant.
3.7 Measurement
(1) After the baseline signal has been stabilized, click [automatic
zero] button on the window.
(2) Aspirate a sample through the sample suction tube.
(3) After the absorption signal has become constant, click Start
button.
(4) Aspirate pure water through the sample suction tube for rinsing
after completion of each sample measurement.
(5) Carry out measurement of samples in the same way as above.
NOTE:
The absorption cell and cell holder become very hot when
the flame is ignited. There is a danger of burns upon
touching them.
Do not touch the cell and cell holder when the flame is
ignited. Wait until the cell and cell holder cool down before
handling them.
