5.11 Heating Injection of Sample
A sample such as organic solvent is apt to disperse in the
graphite cuvette and reproducibility of its measurement may be
degraded. In such a case, sample dispersion can be
suppressed by injection with the graphite cuvette heating.
For setting, perform the following procedure.
(1) Open the [Sample Injection] tab in the Autosampler window.
(2) Set [Yes] for [Heat Injection] and enter a desired cuvette
temperature for [Heat Temp.].
(3) Enter a desired sample injection speed for [Injection Speed]
at the bottom left of this window.
The relationship between the specified number of injection
speed and the actual injection speed is listed in the table
below.
Specification No.
Aspiration/Injection
Speed (
L/s)
1 2
2 6
3 19
4 30
5 60
NOTE
: Set an appropriate temperature and injection speed so
that the injected sample will not scatter in the graphite
cuvette due to boiling.
(4) Change the drying stage of a heating temperature program
as required.
