3.1 Generation of Measurement Conditions

(1) Click the [Analytical Condition] button (<4> in Fig. 3-5) and
the Analytical Condition window will appear.

(2) Set the following items.
Atomizer
Normally the optimum device for the set element is
selected by default, and need not be changed. The
standard burner produces flames that are ignited by air-
acetylene and whose temperature is about 2000
º
C.
Use a high-temperature burner for elements whose
atomizer temperature is greater than that.
The high-temperature burner and Hg cell are options.
For using these items, refer to their respective
instruction manuals.
To change the default setting for a particular application,
examine the optimum conditions with respect to type of
flame and/or gas flow rate.
Flame Type
Normally a type of flame (corresponding to the atomizer)
that is suitable for the set element is selected by default,
and need not be changed.
The flame type can be changed for a particular
application. Refer to “1.3 Supply of Gases” for the
combination with atomizer.
