8.6 Start of Measurement

For interrupting a measurement, two methods described below
are selectable. Usually, the method in (1) should be used.
(1) When clicking the [Pause] button in the tool box during
measurement, the current measurement of a sample is
interrupted after its temperature program.

Then, clicking the [Start] button resumes measurement of
the relevant sample from the repetition No. subjected to
interruption.
For resuming measurement from the top of its sequence,
terminate the sequence by clicking the [Close Sequence]
button, return to the Method window and restart from the
verifying operation. Note that when clicking the [Close
Sequence] button, display changes to the Data Process
window in which the data measured so far is indicated.
Therefore, the data can be saved here.
(2) When clicking the [Stop] button in the tool box during
measurement, it stops immediately irrespective of sample
heating status.

Then, clicking the [Start] button resumes measurement of
the relevant sample from the repetition No. 1.
For resuming measurement from the top of its sequence,
terminate the sequence by clicking the [Close Sequence]
button, return to the Method window and restart from the
verifying operation. Note that when clicking the [Close
Sequence] button, display changes to the Data Process
window in which the data measured so far is indicated.
Therefore, the data can be saved here.
