NOTES
: 1. This function is effective for the elements (As, Se)
measurable at wavelengths under 200 nm.
For the element measurable at longer than 200 nm,
the absorption of light due to sample evaporation
is difficult to occur.
So use of this function should be avoided.
2. When a platform cuvette is used, the reference
signal will rise significantly because the beam is
substantially blocked by the injected sample, so an
exact judgment may be impossible.
Therefore, the background detection function
should not be used in combination with a platform
cuvette.
3. Background detection may fail because the
reference signal does not rise adequately
depending on the kind and liquid characteristics of
a sample, sample injection volume, measuring
wavelength, cuvette type, etc.
In this case, the same drying time as the [Ramp
Time (s)] value set in a drying test will be adopted.
