6.2 Using the Working Curve Range and RSD (Check Sample)
6 - 6
Setting Dilution Factor:
For dilution and remeasurement of an unknown sample
which exceeds the tolerance, dilution factor needs to be
specified here.
If the remeasured value is still outside the allowable
range, the sample will be further diluted by a factor twice
as large as the specified value followed by
remeasurement. Input is effective within 1.5 to 10.0
times. [Sample Volume] stands for the volume of
unknown sample at the first dilution.
[Auto]: Determine the dilution factor under the
following conditions for the absorbance
(Abs
Max
) with the maximum concentration of the
standard solution for which a working curve is
created: An error message is displayed for a
dilution factor below the minimum sample
volume.

[Direct]: Specify the dilution factor in advance. The
sample volume changes automatically after
entering the dilution factor.
NOTES
: 1. Place a diluents on a location which is set in the
“Dilution cup No.” on [Autosampler] window.
2. The cup of diluent should have some excess
volume taking the number of measurements,
injection volume and minimum sample volume of
container into account.
3. Correct. Conc. corresponds to the value after
conversion to the original concentration.
