5.16    Power/Water Saving by Eco Mode 

 

  Power saving mode 

 
The hollow cathode lamps which are being turned on are 
turned off to minimize the standby power. This mode is 
activated when no operation of the instrument is made for 
over 1 hour. 

 

  Water saving mode 

 
Flow of cooling water is stopped. However, the flow 
continues when the flame is on. This mode is activated 
when no operation of the instrument is made for over 10 
minutes. 

 

NOTES

:  1.  The water saving mode is available only on the 

Tandem model (ZA3000). 

 
 

2.  When the water circulator is used for cooling water, 

it may cause breakdown of the water circulator. Do 
not use the water saving mode function.
