show ip ospf database external
Display information on the AS external (type 5) LSAs.
Syntax
show ip ospf [
process-id
| vrf vrf-name ] database external [
link-state-id
]
[adv-router
ip-address
]
Parameters
process-id
Enter the OSPF Process ID to show a specific process. If no Process ID is entered,
command applies only to the first OSPF process.
vrf
vrf-name
Enter the keyword
vrf
followed by the name of the VRF to view information on AS
external LSAs corresponding to the OSPF processes that are tied to a specific VRF.
link-state-id
(OPTIONAL) Specify LSA ID in dotted decimal format. The LSA ID value depends on the
LSA type, and it can be one of the following:
•
the network’s IP address for Type 3 LSAs or Type 5 LSAs
•
the router’s OSPF router ID for Type 1 LSAs or Type 4 LSAs
•
the default destination (0.0.0.0) for Type 5 LSAs
adv-router
ip-
address
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keywords
adv-router
and the ip-address to display only the
LSA information about that router.
