Unscreened; however: screened for unfavourable conditions, for example, near a
strong transmitter or an electrical power line

One TAE socket with F-coding
1. Lay the line.
Note:
Prevent interferences. Avoid laying long lengths of parallel lines,
especially next to mains. Twist the pairs.
2. Attach the wires to the terminal clamps of the external analogue port.
3. Connect the wall socket to the terminal clamps of the external analogue port.

Requirements:

Inserted COMpact 2BRI module
•
The connection cable included in the scope of delivery of the COMpact 2BRI module
•
Enabled operating mode “S
0
external” on the S
0
port in question
Note:
The default setting is „S
0
external“ for port 1 and „S
0
internal“ for port 2.
•
Terminators at both ends of the connection – in the NTBA and in the PBX on the external
S
0
port in question – set to „Enabled“.
•
Minimal distance between the devices
Warning:
Power surges, which can occur during electrical storms, can
cause life-threatening electric shocks or damage or destroy the PBX.
•
Hire a qualified electrician to lay the cables within the building.
Warning:
Voltages that run through the connection socket of the network
provider can cause life-threatening electric shocks.
•
Do not connect the PBX until the casing on the connection socket of the
network provider is closed again.
