DECT Telephones
Transferring Telephone Numbers from the Address Books into the Telephone Book on a COMfortel DECT 900/900C Handset
Proceed as follows:
•
Using the configuration manager
Requirements:
•
Base station COMfortel DECT IP1040 operated on the PBX
•
COMfortel DECT 900/900C Handsets
• DECT system telephone
or
IP DECT system telephone
configured under
Subscriber
(scr.) > Phone numbers
•
Contact groups of the type
COMfortel DECT 900 Handsets
and/or
COMfortel DECT 900C
Handsets
in the address books
1. Open the page
User data > Address books
.
2. Select the phone numbers to be transmitted and press the left mouse key to pull them
into one of the contact groups of the type
COMfortel DECT 900 Handsets
or
COMfortel DECT 900C Handsets
.
3. Open the page
User data > Address books > Contact group authorisations
.
4. Select or clear the check boxes under
Read access
in the line of the COMfortel
DECT 900/900C Handsets for those contact groups whose entries are to be trans-
mitted to the telephone books of the handsets.
After saving the entries will be displayed on the handsets of the subscribers with read
access.
Note:
Up to 140 (COMfortel DECT 900) or 250 (COMfortel DECT 900C) phonebook
entries may be transferred to a handset.
•
Phone numbers that were manually entered into the handset will not
be overwritten by the configuration manager. That means these
phone numbers can only be changed or deleted manually.
•
The configuration manager only uses the memory locations that
have not been defined manually. Entries that were defined using the
configuration manager, will be overwritten by the configuration
manager.
•
If more phone numbers have been selected than available in the
memory locations of the handset, phone numbers are transmitted to
the handset until all the memory locations are filled. The phone
numbers with lower short-code dial numbers are transferred first.
