Configuring User PINs and Passwords
6. Click the
Authorisations
tab.
7. Select the
Sub-admin
check box.
Configuring User PINs and Passwords
User PIN and user password will be generated via random generator if a new internal
subscriber is created. You can change PIN and password if required.
Note:
The user name for registering at the configuration manager is the
internal number (MSN) of each user. The user‘s access authorisation for
pages of the configuration manager can be configured on the page
Admin-
istration > Access authorisations
.
Proceed as follows:

Separately for subscribers

Using the configuration manager
1. Open the page
Subscriber (scr.) > Phone numbers
.
2. Click
Configure
in the line of the corresponding subscriber.
3. Click the
Basic settings
tab.
4. If necessary, change the PIN in the
PIN
entry field for the subscriber in question.

To change current PINs and passwords, click on
Edit PIN and password

All of the PINs in the PBX are unique. This means that it is not possible to
allocate the same PIN twice.
Do not use dates of birth or dates as PINs. This makes it easy for an attacker
to find out the correct PIN. PINs which are easy to guess, such as 111111 or
123456, should also be avoided.
It is possible to configure no user PIN at all.
