Operating Instructions for the Configuration Manager
Entry and Selection Fields
Important:
Before leaving a page, all of the settings configured on the pages
with the following labelled fields must be confirmed by clicking
Saving
.
Creating, Deleting, Searching for, and Sorting Table Entries
The configuration manager displays the lists in table format across multiple pages. Only table
rows containing data are shown. A list can be expanded or shortened.
Creating Entries
1. Click
New
.
One line is added to the list.
2. Fill in the empty entry fields.
An empty field normally indicates that a name or number is to be
entered. Click in the field in question and use the keyboard to enter a
number or desired text.
In order to change an existing entry, double-click the entry to be
overwritten. The field then becomes blue and can either be overwritten
directly or the existing text can be deleted using the delete/backspace
key.
For functions that can be more than just switched on and off but only
have a few options to choose from, the field already contains a default
setting. To change this, click the opened list field to make a selection.
Left-click the field to open the list field.
For some functions, a small circular button (option button) is located
next to the setting options listed. The selected setting is indicated by a
dot inside the circle. The setting is changed by clicking an empty circle.
Selecting this setting option simultaneously disables any other previous
selection.
A square check box indicates a switching function. An empty check box
means "off" and "no"; a check mark on the other hand, means "on" and
"yes". The switchover is done by simply left-clicking the box.
An arrow on a horizontal line represents a slider. The arrow can be
moved on the line to configure the setting. To do this, place the cursor on
the arrow. Press and hold the left mouse button down and slide the
arrow to the point you want.
Next to the line are informational or entry fields that display the exact
values, when appropriate.
