The array form of the command is used to make a different setting for each acquisition in the sequence (the
number of array values must match the number of acquisitions; otherwise a "settings conflict" error will occur).

For setting this parameter using SCPI, see

Positive values act as a trigger delay. A negative number acts as a pre-trigger. For example, if set to –200 us, the
meas offset would start 200 us prior to the trigger event. Meas interval starts after meas offset ends, which in this
case would be 200 us prior to the trigger event plus the Meas Offset value.

GMSK ORFS switching and GMSK PVT (for example) need to see the full rising edge and all the
overshoot/undershoot. A warning is displayed (see

"Validation and Setup dependencies" on page 378

) if selected

measurement in the first analysis step requires a rising edge then acquisition may need a pre-trigger to catch the
rising edge.
