Basic Discrete PAvT Results
Basic Discrete PAvT cannot be averaged. If Average number is set to anything other than 1, the Sequence
returns a validation error, and the Sequence does not execute.
The SCPI-only header values are as follows:
Meas Bitmap is a floating point number which appears ahead of the results for the analysis interval; it is a
decimal representation of the meas bitmap value for the measurements included in the interval. The value
returned for Basic Discrete PAvT results is 4. Basic Discrete PAvT is exclusive with other measurements
because it will set the channel filter. Once the Basic PAvT measurement is selected in one analysis of one
acquisition, the other measurements are not selectable in this acquisition. It allows multi-analyses in this
acquisition with Basic PAvT measurement selected, but only Basic discrete PAvT measurement is allowed
for each analysis. If there are multi-acquisitions, those acquisitions without Basic Discrete PAvT
measurement selected are normal and other measurements selectable.
Number Of Results is a floating point number which appears ahead of the results of a measurement within
the analysis interval; it represents the number of results metrics returned by the measurement. The value
returned for Basic Discrete PAvT results is 1537. (Although there are only 4 result index values, three of the
results consist of very long lists of numbers.).

Number of steps to be measured

Returns a 512 length list of comma-separated values for the amplitude of each step. The first step amplitude
result is absolute value. The results of other steps are referenced to the first step and they are relative value.

Returns a 512 length list of comma-separated values for the phase error of each step. The first step phase error
result is as the zero. The results of other steps are referenced to the first step phase.

Returns a 512 length list of comma-separated values for the frequency error of each step. The first step frequency
error result is referenced to the frequency set fo the acquisition. The results of other steps are referenced to the
first step frequency error result.
