List Sequence Measurements
Measurement Results
These are the measurement result metrics that are returned either to the front panel or over SCPI.
With SCPI results, two values are returned which are not included in the front panel Results Metric View,
because they are used only in parsing the SCPI return values. First, the measurement results for an
analysis interval (following the pass/fail “integrity value” for the interval as a whole) are preceded by a
value that is a decimal representation of the meas bitmap (the selection of measurements included).
Second, the results for each measurement within the analysis interval (following the pass/fail “integrity
value” for the measurement as a whole) are preceded by a value which indicates the number of results
returned by that measurement. The results for individual measurements are returned in ascending order of
their bitmap values (Tx Power, having the lowest value, always appears before any other measurement if it
is included in the interval).
For example, if an analysis interval includes one measurement, GMSK Phase & Frequency Error, the
results for the interval are preceded by a value of 64 (the decimal weight of bit 6 in the meas bitmap), and
the results for the measurement are preceded by a value of 17 (because it returns 17 result metrics).
An alternative example: if an analysis interval includes two measurements, Tx Power and cdma2000 Mod
Accuracy, the results for the interval are preceded by a value of 2049 (the decimal weight of bit 11 plus bit 0
in the meas bitmap), the results for Tx Power are preceded by a value of 4 (because that measurement
returns 4 result metrics), and the results for cdma2000 Mod Accuracy are preceded by a value of 18
(because that measurement returns 18 result metrics).
Basic Transmit Power Results
This measurement returns four results for Transmit Power; the limits are set by parameters detailed in the
Meas Setup section for Basic Transmit Power.
The SCPI-only header values are as follows:
Meas Bitmap is a floating point number which appears ahead of the results for the analysis interval; it is a
decimal representation of the meas bitmap value for the measurements included in the interval. The value
returned for Basic Transmit Power results is 1. If more than one measurement is included in this analysis
step, then the value returned represents the combined meas bitmap value for all included measurements,
and the results are returned in ascending order of their meas bitmap values.
Number Of Results is a floating point number which appears ahead of the results of a measurement within
the analysis interval; it represents the number of results metrics returned by the measurement. The value
returned for Basic Transmit Power is 4.
