Message RAM
To avoid conflicts between Host access to the Message RAM and FlexRay™ message
reception / transmission, the Host cannot directly access the Message Buffers in the
Message RAM. These accesses are handled via the Input and Output Buffers. The
Message RAM is able to store up to 128 Message Buffers depending on the configured
payload length.
The Message RAM is organized 2048 x 32. To achieve the required flexibility with
respect to different numbers of data byte per FlexRay™ Frame (0 to 254), the Message
RAM has a structure as shown in
