Maintenance

Installing an update in

syngo 

As a last step, the update of the virus protection files must be installed and acti-
vated in the 

syngo

 user interface. 

It is recommended to complete this step immediately to finish the update pro-
cess. For this purpose, the 

syngo

 user interface must be restarted. The 

Software 

Distribution/Installation

 dialog box is automatically displayed to complete the 

installation for 

syngo

.

You can also open the 

Software Distribution/Installation

 window later (manu-

ally, without restarting). For this purpose, click the yellow exclamation mark on 
the status bar. This symbol will appear approx. 15 min after installing the virus up-
date in the system.
