7.2 When in Trouble

(3) Display unit related problems
Nothing appears on the CRT screen.
Cause Remedy
The CRT power (100VAC) is not
supplied. Check the cable wiring.
The F590 cable is not connected
to the control unit. Check the cable wiring.
Others The control unit or CRT may be faulty.
The CRT screen is disturbed.
Cause Remedy
The CRT is affected by external
magnetic fields. Arrange the CRT so it is not affected by external magnetic
fields.
The F590 cable is fault. Check the cable wiring.
Others The control unit or CRT may be faulty.
The LCD screen does not turn ON.
Cause Remedy
The F090 cable is not connected
to the control unit. Check the cable wiring.
The cable from the HR721/722
card to the LCD panel is
disconnected. (NZ24-4 cable,
backlight cable) Check the cable wiring.
Others The HR721/722 card or control unit may be faulty.
The LCD screen is disturbed.
Cause Remedy
The cable is faulty. Check the cable wiring.
Others The HR721/722 card or control unit may be faulty.
The LCD screen is dark and hard to view.
Cause Remedy
Direct sunlight is shining on the
LCD screen making it dark and
hard to view. Shield the screen from direct sunlight.
Backlight is spent. The LCD panel must be replaced. (Replacement of only the
backlight is not possible.)
(4) Keyboard unit related problems
Menu key inputs are not possible.
Cause Remedy
The cable enclosed with the menu
key is not connected. Check the cable wiring.
NC key inputs are not possible.
Cause Remedy
The F053/F054 cable is not
connected. Check the cable wiring.
