Enabling/disabling or modifying individual Vspeed Reference Bugs:
1)
Press the
TMR/REF
Softkey.
2)
Turn the large
FMS
Knob to highlight the desired Vspeed value.
3)
Use the small
FMS
Knob to change the Vspeed in 1-kt increments (when a speed has been changed from a
default value, an asterisk appears next to the speed).
4)
Press the
ENT
Key or turn the large
FMS
Knob to highlight the On/Off field
5)
Turn the small
FMS
Knob clockwise to ‘On’ or counterclockwise to ‘Off’.
6)
To remove the window, press the
CLR
Key or the
TMR/REF
Softkey.

The pilot can also enable/disable all Vspeed Reference Bugs as a group.
Enabling/disabling Vspeed Reference Bugs as a group or restoring all default settings:
1)
Press the
TMR/REF
Softkey.
2)
Press the
MENU
Key.
3)
Turn the
FMS
Knob to scroll as needed to highlight ‘All References On’, ‘All References Off’ or ‘Restore Defaults’.
4)
Press the
ENT
Key.
5)
To remove the References Window, press the
CLR
Key or the
TMR/REF
Softkey.
ALTIMETER
The Altimeter indicates barometric altitude on a moving tape rolling number gauge. The pilot can choose
display units format for the Altimeter as feet or meters. Altitude display units are set from the ‘Aux - System
Setup 1’ Page. See the System Overview section for details on changing displayed units of measure.
