19-16 OSPFv3 Configuration
Usage
A
stub
area
is
characterized
by
the
fact
that
AS
external
LSAs
are
not
propagated
into
the
area.
Removing
AS
external
LSAs
and
summary
LSAs
can
significantly
reduce
the
link
state
database
of
routers
within
the
stub
area.
Use
the
no
form
of
the
command
to
delete
a
stub
area.
Example
This
example
creates
a
stub
area
with
the
ID
of
30.
G3(su)->router(Config-router)# area 30 stub
area stub no-summary
This
command
disables
the
import
of
summary
LSAs
into
the
specified
stub
area.
Syntax
