the
interval

Neighbor
Solicitations
sent
on
an
interface.
Syntax
ipv6 nd ns-interval

Defaults

a
value
of
0
is
advertised
in
RA
messages.

Usage
The
NS
interval
is
used
to
determine
the
time
between
retransmissions
of
neighbor
solicitation
messages
to
a
neighbor
when
resolving
a
unicast
address
(DAD)
or
when
probing
the
reachability
of
a
neighbor.
This
value
is
also
advertised
in
Router
Advertisement
(RA)
messages
sent
on
the
interface.
Use
the
no
form
of
this
command
to
set
the
interval
to
the
default
of
0.
Example
This
example
sets
the
NS
interval
to
2
seconds.

ipv6 nd reachable-time
This
command
configures
the
length
of
time
within
which
some
reachability
confirmation
must
be
received
from
a
neighbor
for
the
neighbor
to
be
considered
reachable.
Syntax
ipv6 nd reachable-time

Sets
the
interval
in
milliseconds
between
retransmissions
of
Neighbor
Solicitation
messages
on
the
interface.
The
value
can
range
from
1000
(one
second)
to
3,600,000
(one
hour)
milliseconds.
0
An
advertised
value
of
0
means
the
interval
is
unspecified.
