Switch command, read ‐ write.
Example
This example shows how to configure port 1 to advertise 1000BASE ‐ T full duplex:
G3(su)->set port advertise ge.1.1 1000tfd
clear port advertise
Use this command to configure a port to not advertise a specific speed/duplex capability when
auto ‐ negotiating with another port.
Syntax
clear port advertise { port-string }{ 10t | 10tfd | 100tx | 100txfd | 1000t | 1000tfd
| pause }
Parameters
port ‐ string Select the ports for which to configure advertisements. For a detailed
description of possible port ‐ string values, refer to “ Port String Syntax Used
in the CLI ” on page 4 ‐ 1.
10t Advertise 10BASE ‐ T half duplex mode.
10tfd Advertise 10BASE ‐ T full duplex mode.
100tx Advertise 100BASE ‐ TX half duplex mode.
100txfd Advertise 100BASE ‐ TX full duplex mode. Refer to “ Configuring SFP Ports
for 100BASE ‐ FX ” on page 4 ‐ 2 for more information on setting advertised
ability for 100 Mb SFP tranceivers.
1000t Advertise 1000BASE ‐ T half duplex mode.
1000tfd Advertise 1000BASE ‐ T full duplex mode.
pause Advertise PAUSE for full ‐ duplex links.
port ‐ string Clear advertisements for specific port(s). For a detailed description of
