logging monitor
Use the
logging monitor
command in Global Configuration mode to enable
logging messages to telnet and SSH sessions with the default severity level.
Use the
no logging monitor
command to disable logging messages.
Syntax
logging monitor severity
no logging monitor
• severity—(Optional) The number or name of the desired severity level.

Default Configuration
The default logging monitor severity level is
warnings
. By default, logging
messages are not displayed on SSH or telnet sessions (no logging monitor
warnings). Logging messages are displayed by default on console sessions
(serial and out-of-band ports).

User Guidelines
Messages logged to the console are filtered based on severity. Selecting a
severity level will log that severity and higher (numerically lower) level
messages.
