isdp timer
The
isdp timer
command sets period of time between sending new ISDP
packets. The range is given in seconds. Use the “no” form of this command to
reset the timer to the default.
Syntax
isdp
timer
time
no isdp timer
• time—The time in seconds (range: 5–254 seconds).
Default Configuration
The default timer is 30 seconds.

User Guidelines
Configuring the timer to a low value on a large number interfaces may affect
system processing due to CPU overload. Use the
show process cpu
command
to examine the system load.
Example
The following example sets the isdp timer value to 40 seconds.
console(config)#isdp timer 40
show isdp
The
show isdp
command displays global ISDP settings.
