ip telnet port
The
ip telnet port
command is used to configure the Telnet TCP port
number on which the switch listens for Telnet connections.
Syntax
ip telnet port
port number
• port number — Telnet TCP port number (Range: 1025–65535)
Default Configuration
The default value for the Telnet TCP port is 23.

User Guidelines
The Telnet server TCP port should not be set to a value that might conflict
with other well-known protocol port numbers used on this switch.
UDP, TCP and RAW ports reserved by the switch and unavailable for use or
configuration are:
Ports 1, 17, 58, 255, 546, 547, 2222, 4567, 6343, 49160

show ip telnet
The
show ip telnet
command displays the status of the Telnet server and the
Telnet TCP port number.
